About the Artist

Full name: Kingsley Ugochukwu Ikekpeazu Artist name: D'Kings Artistry

Drawing has always been what I've been known for right from when I was a little boy. In my primary school, I had always stood out when it comes to drawing. I remember teachers always reached out to me to help them draw certain subjects on cardboard that they need for class lessons. I was fund of drawing cartoon characters, comics and animal characters.
It was clear that abilities with the pencil is a gift from God. Talents always align with destiny, so I was not willing to waste it away even though the system I grew up in tried so hard to make me feel my talent is useless, I've decided to harness my gift to the fullest even though I grew up in a society that hardly value art, that tells you drawing is nothing more than a childhood hobby. So here I am, determined to change that narrative, even though I studied Engineering in the university college, I started trying to go professional in my 200 level in campus by drawing commissioned works for my fellow students and anyone else that appreciates art. My early years as a pro artist wasn't so rosey as I found my self in a society that downplay artworks but however I kept my focus and ambitions, and my ambitions wanted something more than just commissioned works. I want to use my abilities to relate powerful message to the world, to give meaning to subjects that the world doesn't think matters. To share philosophies my audience can reflect upon and to tell the world my story, the audience might view a piece of my soul through my Art
