David Awoyale, originally from Kwara State, now resides in Lagos. A graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic, he embarked on his artistic journey early in life. Under the mentorship of esteemed artists Abdusalam Abdukarem and Nnezenaya Barry, David has refined his skills and cultivated a distinctive perspective that distinguishes his work in the contemporary art scene.

He has participated in several notable exhibitions, including the Laspotech Exhibition in 2019, DangoteSaltART in 2020, and Felabration in 2025. David's artistic evolution and experiences significantly inform his contributions to the art community. As an Expressionist painter with a passion for Impasto, his works often reflect his identity and beliefs. He firmly believes in the transformative power of art to effect change across various dimensions.

David works in multiple mediums, including oil, acrylic, and charcoal, allowing him to explore diverse expressions and themes in his art. His commitment to his craft and his unique voice continue to resonate within the artistic landscape.
