I’ve often pondered... Why is it that we see so many faces, yet truly know so few ? Ojú lárí, ọ̀rẹ́ ǹ dénú, this yoruba proverb which translates to "We only see faces, but true friendship is from within," emphasizes that real connection lies beneath the surface, it is loyalty, understanding, and shared experiences in fostering genuine bonds. The "weight of we" aim to remind us what true friendship is; watching each other's back, sharing bonds and burdens, relating with sacrifices, empathy and integrity.
