Sanity was painted in a time of anxiety and a search for peace. The toys and chessboard represent the presence of hope and beauty in the midst of such times. “I found peace playing with my siblings and I observed how silent and restful it can be”. Sanity gives consideration to the fact that we do not always need to be adults. Though the wrong things may at times be regarded as sources of peace, sanity can be found is in the midst of love and amidst the simple things life awards.
