Chimera was inspired by moments of emotional silence those stretches of time when a person feels present physically, yet internally distant. The artwork captures the psychological fragmentation that comes from navigating life quietly, carrying unspoken burdens, and existing behind a face that the world rarely pauses to truly see.

The blurred edges and scattered brushstrokes reflect a mind drifting between strength and vulnerability, holding onto pieces of itself while letting others dissolve. I wanted to portray that in-between state where identity feels fluid where memories, fears, and resilience merge into one shifting form.

The figure in Chimera represents the hybrid nature of the human experience: part shadow, part light, part longing, part endurance.
