Justin Fasehun is a Nigerian visual artist, photographer, and art educator. His journey into art began in his teenage years, sparked by a fascination with drawings from his textbooks and classroom. This curiosity grew into a passion for drawing and visual storytelling.

During summer holidays, Justin taught high school students craft making, drawing, painting, and art history, an experience that nurtured and is still nurturing his skills as both an artist and an educator.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and expanded his creative path by earning a diploma in photography from the Pixels Creative Academy in Ibadan in 2024. His practice combines traditional and contemporary approaches, working primarily with charcoal, graphite, pastel, and photography.

Justin’s work has grown in scope and recognition, with exhibitions and commissions in many homes and spaces. His trajectory reflects a dedication to exploring multiple mediums, refining his craft, and sharing knowledge through practice and teaching.

Artist statement: My drawings explore the themes of peace,memory, emotions, culture and beauty and their
interconnectedness through gesture, and expression in a way that invites contemplation and amusement.
Through my portraits, I aim to honor both individuality and shared human experience.
